In Omsk, Chistomen, a solo ecologist from Chelyabinsk, visited and helped clean up the city by collecting seven bags of trash. He expressed his confusion as to why not all residents take the effort to dispose of their waste properly and instead litter.
Chistomen has previously visited Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, and Tomsk. The largest amount of trash, 22 bags in total, was collected by the eco-activist on the shores of the Ob Sea in Novosibirsk.
Arthur Matis-Sirazeev, also known as Chistomen, has been collecting trash in different cities since 2015, aiming to promote responsible behavior. He has visited over 40 cities since the start of his initiative. According to him, the trash situation is similar everywhere, with people littering even when trash bins are available.
